I want this to be a place for useful work: observations from business and marketing, questions about technology and data, experiments that teach me something, and practical explanations that save someone else time.

I’ve spent roughly a decade working with businesses of many sizes, mostly around advertising, growth, websites, and technology. I’ve also built projects of my own. Some things worked. Some didn’t. I’m still learning.

What you’ll find here

Some pieces will answer a specific question quickly. Others will look at an observation, the data around it, and what I think it means. Some will be ideas I am still working through. The common thread is curiosity about why things work in the real world.

When I write about client work, I’ll protect the people and businesses involved. When evidence is incomplete, I’ll say so. When I change my mind, I’ll explain why.

The aim is to build a library that gets more useful over time.
